Before joining BTL, Mr. McCann was at SAS Institute where he led the Western Australian Energy & Financial Services sector prior to helping establish the SAS Global Oil and Gas Business Unit across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Dominic has a technology focused management, sales & consulting career having previously worked at Accenture, Dell, Morse and mhm Group.

Hugh Halford-Thompson

With 5 years experience with blockchain technology, Hugh is co-founder of BTL Group LTD. A founding member of the UKDCA, Hugh previously co-founded Quickbitcoin in 2013 which became the UK's biggest bitcoin brokerage and operated the first bitcoin ATM in London. Hugh works out of BTL Group LTD's London office where he is responsible for all technical aspects of the company.

Tom Thompson

Chief Technology Officer

Tom is a world-class software developer with over 16 years of technical and business experience. Tom got his start in mechatronics engineering and industrial automation of critical systems. He brought these skills into the enterprise IT field where he became an expert at building reliable systems out of unreliable components in data centers. His focus on blockchain began in 2013 after realizing it is the only path forward to failsafe business systems. Tom's ultimate goal in blockchain is the creation of everlasting and incorruptible data that executes with perpetual reliability.

Robert Suttie

Chief Financial Officer

Robert possesses more than sixteen years experience in financial services, including over ten years in public accounting, specializing in management advisory, accounting, and financial disclosure. His public company experience includes preparation of financial statements, initial public offerings, business combinations and asset carve-outs, and spin-out transactions. He serves as Chief Financial Officer to a number of companies listed on the TSX and TSX Venture exchanges, and currently manages the financial reporting team at Marrelli Support Services Inc.

Brian founded and served as the CEO and President of Northern Aspect Resources Ltd. He is currently the Executive Chairman and CEO of Belvedere Resources Ltd. He has been involved in projects in the natural resources sector for nearly 20 years. Brian served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs for ten years before launching an entrepreneurial career. He worked at J. Aron trading arm of Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for the mining industry sector and worked in both New York and London. Brian also co-founded American Pacific Mining, Jordex Resources, and Kirkland Lake Gold.

John Thomson

John has significant experience in building joint venture and distributor relationships in the FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors internationally and has worked internationally in a variety of senior roles for companies including PepsiCo. Most recently, he has built up a successful consulting business providing advice to institutional shareholders and management teams in the media, minerals and technology sectors.

Guy is a highly analytical and programmatic thinker who recognized early on that the distributed-ledger-technology that underpins bitcoin, known as "the Blockchain," was a groundbreaking innovation with the potential to transform society. A thought leader in the blockchain space, Guy is the co-founder of BTL Group, the first public blockchain technology company (TSXV:BTL). He is also the co-founder of QuickBitcoin—a bitcoin trading company that introduced one of the first bitcoin ATMs to the United Kingdom in 2013.

Jon setup and led the blockchain practice at Visa Collab and was responsible for leading multiple high profile proof of concept initiatives with key start-up companies, testing ideas for new products and services across the whole payments eco-system, with specific focus and thought leadership in the blockchain and crypto-currency domain.
